Abstract
This is a report on B. Bhatt, J. Lurie, and A. Mathew, Revisiting the de Rham– Witt complex, Astérisque 424 (2021). We review the main definitions and properties of the saturated de Rham–Witt complexes constructed by B. Bhatt, J. Lurie, and A. Mathew. A few complements are added, concerning the genesis of the notion, examples, and finiteness properties and open problems.
