Abstract

This paper presents a new and accurate approach for the calculation of current and voltage profiles along a lossy distributed transmission line. The main advantage of the new method is that it is necessary for the transmission of electricity and the transmission of electricity. The algorithm based on the model can easily evaluate transient responses caused by switching or short circuit. Using this approach, voltage and current can be measured at one end of the transmission line for the purpose of estimating data exchange between both sides. The accuracy of the method is verified with EMTP simulations. The calculation results are in proper agreement with the simulation of the line is broken down into a large number of sections.
