Abstract
According to the different relativity of antecedent attributes, the belief rule bases (BRB) can be classified as conjunctive BRB and disjunctive BRB, both of which have advantages and challenges. To combine the advantages of conjunctive and disjunctive BRBs, an approach of equal probability has been used to construct disjunctive BRB from incomplete conjunctive BRB. However, this approach is designed only for the BRB with one or two antecedent attributes. In order to generalize the application of this disjunctive BRB construction approach, a new approach of equal probability for disjunctive BRB construction is proposed in this study. New calculation algorithms for the correlated rule numbers and weights in conjunctive BRB with each disjunctive rule are proposed in the new disjunctive BRB construction approach. Finally, a numerical case is studied to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
