L. for females), width of body (3.9-5.6 per cent for males; 5.1-6.9 per cent for females), distance between origins of dorsal and anal fins (22.4-26.0 per cent for males; 24.8-28.1 per cent for females), distance between tip of snout and base of nasal tube (2.0-3.2 per cent for males; 1.5-2.4 per cent for females), and distance between nasal tubes (3.0-4.6 per cent for males; 3.0-4.1 per cent for females). Note that females tend to have deeper and thicker bodies (apart from distended stomachs) than males and that again males tend to have larger head proportions than females.
