Abstract
In this paper, we give a linear state equation and a state increment equation of perturbation propagation for the serial production line and the assembly production line with finite buffer sizes by a Max-algebra. Based on these equations, a new algorithm for perturbation analysis is proposed. This algorithm has simple structure and can be realized easily with computers.
