Abstract

It is the usual practice to obtain an Inverse-Chebyshev response by transforming Chebyshev response of a filter. The procedure required is to determine the Chebyshev poles and then the transformation to the inverse Chebyshev poles. This paper considers an alternate approach of directly obtaining Inverse-Chebyshev response using singularity locations, this seems to be a straight forward approach and gives more insight into the transfer function of the filter.
