Abstract

The construction of chaotic maps by discrete memristor has become a hot research work. This paper has proposed a discrete memristor model and verified its memory characteristics by numerical analysis. The model is coupled with a trigonometric map to obtain the 3D memristive hyperchaotic map. The most remarkable feature of this map is that it can exhibit multi-parameter-relied dynamics. It has a great range of hyperchaos under different parameter variations, and two positive Lyapunov exponents have an excellent numerical value. Notably, the parameters affect all the chaotic signals it outputs, which can control amplitude magnitude. A hardware platform based on a microcontroller was designed to implement the proposed discrete memristor and the new map, and its amplitude control signal was verified.
