Abstract

Pressalanin B (1), (–)-anonaine (2), (–)-asimilobine (3), (–)-N-acetylanonaine (4), liriodenine (5), stearic acid (6), 6β-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one (7), 6β-hydroxystigmast-4,22-dien-3-one (8), costunolide (9), 11,13-dehydrolanuginolide (10), N-trans-feruloyltyramine (11), N-trans-caffeoyltyramine (12), N-cis-caffeoyltyramine (13), p-hydroxybenzoic acid (14), p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (15), methylparaben (16), and vanillin (17) were isolated from the flowers of Michelia compressa var. lanyuensis (Magnoliaceae). Among them, pressalanin B is a new 2H-pyran. The structures of these compounds were characterized and identified by spectral analyses.
