Abstract

A neural network PID control is designed for pH neutralization process. The control system includes two parts: neural network identifier and signal neuron PID controller. Because of the typical nonlinearity of pH neutralization process, a BP network is applied to identify the neutralization process. And conventional PID control cannot adapt the changes of process, a signal neuron PID controller is used to improve the adaptability of control system. The neural network PID control is proposed to solve the nonlinear problem of pH neutralization process. Simulation results have shown the robustness and adaptability of the neural network PID control system of pH neutralization process.
