Abstract
Let L1 and L2 be finite geometric lattices, and M(L1) and M(L2) be their associated matroids. This paper gives a necessary and sufficient condition for M(L1) and M(L2)* (the dual matroid of M(L2)) to be isomorphic, which is actually an affirmative answer to a question of Welsh.
