Abstract
A previous article [1] introduced and analyzed a simple multitype population model. That model was special insofar as the input process was assumed Poisson. This article analyzes a modified model that has for its input process an arbitrary renewal process. This modification allows far greater flexibility in fitting the model to some real situation than does the case of Poisson inputs.
