Abstract
As the electromagnetic environment of the modern battlefield becomes more complex and the radar technology develops rapidly, radar signal sorting has faced a lot of difficulties. A new method of signal sorting based on multistation cooperative and TDOA grid clustering is proposed in this letter. This new method estimates TDOA from pulse sequences received by several stations by TDOA grid clustering. Compared to other pulse description words (PDW) such as PRI, CF, DOA and other parameters, TDOA is a more stable and easily obtained parameter. Therefore, this method can solve the problem that the traditional methods have poor effects on complex signals. Theoretical analysis and simulations show that this method has strong robustness and wide applicability, it shows high accuracy for complex pulse sorting and has a good sorting effect in case of a high amount of losing pulses.
