Abstract
The construction of a simple, inexpensive, and easily fabricated device for obtaining multiple air samples is described. Air entering the unit is thoroughly mixed using a fan and inlet baffle arrangement. Critical orifices and a vacuum manifold system allow the collection of fifteen simultaneous samples. The system is well suited to both laboratory and field sampling situations where multiple samples are required for methods comparison or for the documentation of the precision of a particular air sampling methodology.
