Abstract

This paper proposes a multi-phase high-gain converter, which ensures switches low currents stresses, low input current ripple, high input current frequency, small size for input filter, and low conduction losses. Due to the multi-phase and multistage voltage multiplier circuit, low voltage stresses on switches and diodes and a high voltage conversion ratio are achieved. Voltages across two capacitors in each leg are the same. These advantages lead to a high step-up converter, low-voltage rating, and more efficient capacitors, diodes, and switches. The proposed multiphase converter has been simulated and the analysis of steady-state voltage gain is presented, here.
