Abstract

A multilayer combline filter with high harmonic suppression is presented. The filter utilizes multilayer capacitors and coupled stripline resonators. It has high selectivity and high harmonic suppression. Harmonics are suppressed by using a multilayer structure that can be built by standard printed circuit board fabrication process. A good agreement between simulation and measurement results is achieved. The proposed filter shows harmonic rejection up to 5 times the center frequency.
