Abstract

In this communication, the design and experimental results of a multilayer multi-resonator probe-fed microstrip antenna are presented for wideband applications. The antenna structure consists of a rectangular fed patch and two parasitic patches. The measured impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 41% centered at 3 GHz, and the gain of the antenna is more than 9 dB over most of the bandwidth.
