Abstract

A novel Zn-based coordination polymer (Zn-CP), [Zn8(pdda)6(OH)4(DMF)2]n, was obtained using V-shape ligand 3,3′-(pyridine-2,6′-diyl)dibenzoic acid (H2ppda). Zn-CP has one-dimensional chain structure. Zn-CP exhibits excellent water stability and luminescence emission, which is further confirmed as a multi-functional luminescence sensor for sensing Al3+, Fe3+, Cr2O72-, nitrofurantoin and nitrofurazone with high sensitivity and anti-interference ability in water.
