Abstract

The splitting of dichromatic radiation propagating along the optical axis of a crystal resulting from the Bragg acousto-optic diffraction at a single acoustic wave was considered. Several splitting variants, which can be implemented with a single acousto-optic cell, were revealed. Experiments, in which an Ar laser served as a dichromatic radiation source and a paratellurite single crystal was used as an acousto-optic media, confirmed all the splitting variants predicted for dichromatic radiation.
