Abstract
This paper consists of a patch antenna with parasitic strips to operate at multiband frequency range. Proposed design has a ground and a patch on the same plane and parasitic strip on opposite plane of the PCB. FR4 dielectric material of thickness 0.8 mm is used as substrate for PCB. Proposed antenna covers a bandwidth from 1.41-2.7 GHz, 3.6-3.7 GHz and 5.0-6.1 GHz for GPS, DCS, PCS, UMTS, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiMax and WLAN applications. Simulation process of the proposed design is done on Ansoft HFSS software.
