Abstract
The use of Autonomous agents in conjunction with semantic webtechnologies such as Extensible Markup Language (XML), Resource DescriptionFramework (RDF), Web Services and Ontologies will enhance the effectivenessof NATO Network Enabled Capabilities (NNEC) operations. Thesesemantic web components are the enablers for realizing the benefits that agentscan bring towards achieving interoperability at the semantic level. This paperpresents the Semantic Interoperability Collaborative Multi-Agent Architecture(SI-CoMAr), which is proposed in conjunction with Semantic web components,to address the issue of enabling semantic interoperability in dynamicenvironments such as those supported by the NNEC concept of operations.
