Abstract
This article examines some recent pedagogical concepts and trends, such as signature pedagogy and student-centered learning, and their application to legal research instruction. Law librarians and other legal research instructors have long utilized a core instructional model known as the bibliographic method. But, given a rapidly changing information environment and today's born digital students, we must question whether its traditional teacher-centered approach can still motivate students and provide them with the authentic experience necessary for effective learning.
