Abstract
Drugs play a very important role in medicine, but considerable care is required for use and development. For instance, there was high attention to birth defects as the side effect of thalidomide intake for relieving morning sickness of pregnant women. Considering the risk of side effect as well as the enormous time and cost required to develop new drugs, drug repurposing (drug repositioning) is now becoming more attractive option.
