Abstract
The weakly bound ethylene–Ne, –Ar and –Kr complexes have been investigated by molecular beam scattering experiments. Total integral cross sections have been measured in the thermal collision energy range where quantum interference effects have been measured. The data analysis has been based on an atom-bond representation of the interaction potential energy function, whose parameters have been fitted to the experimental results allowing a full characterization of the structure of the complexes.
