Abstract

A technique to decrease the frequency of fracture and loss of polycarbonate crown restorations for primary anterior teeth is described. A technique to decrease the frequency of fracture and loss of polycarbonate crown restorations for primary incisors is described. Adequate tooth reduction and placement of an escape hole in the lingual aspect of the crown are recommended. These measures may reduce the amount of stress induced in the crown during cementation.
