Abstract
As part of an investigation into the prediction of annoyance due to high level low frequency noise, the use of the Perceived Noise Level ( PNL) in PNdB was considered. It was found that the PNL extended to include lower frequencies down to the 25 Hz 1 3 octave band was superior to the standard PNL.
