Abstract

Based on the algorithm of CSM (Coherent Signal-Subspace Method) and MUSIC algorithm, this paper proposed a modified DOA estimation algorithm of wideband signals. Firstly, the CSM algorithm decomposed the received signal to a set of frequency components, and focused these component singles to the same subspace through focuses transform. And the symmetric sub arrays are formed based on the character of conjugate symmetric configuration of the UCA (Uniform Circular Array). Then, based on the conjugate sub arrays the covariance matrix of the received data can be reconstructed and the DOA can be estimated by the algorithm of MUSIC. Simulation results show that, comparing the conventional CSM-MUSIC algorithm, the proposed algorithm has better performance of the DOA estimation, especially in low SNR (signal to noise ratio) situation.
