Abstract

In this paper, an improved grey model by using Fourier series of error residuals to predict the tendency of ultraviolet protection performance of aging B.mori silk fabric is proposed. The ultraviolet protection factor of B.mori silk fabric under natural weathering was used as the test data set. In addition, the relative percentage error (RPE), the average relative percentage error (ARPE) and the root mean square error (RMSE) were used to compare the performance of the forecast models. The results showed that the improved EFGVM(1,1) model is more accurate and performs better than the traditional GM(1,1) model and grey Verhulst model.
