Abstract

Using the surface impedance boundary condition (SIBC)-finite difference time domain (FDTD) method, the electromagnetic scattering characteristic of non-magnetized plasma coating upon metal material was obtained, under the 1D oblique incident wave condition. The SIBC method can largely reduce computational volume by ignoring the mesh division of the background material. By substituting the impression of frequency domain surface impedance into boundary condition equation, and using the Piecewise Linear Recursive Convolution (PLRC) method, the FDTD iterate formula is obtained. Finally, the proposed algorithm is applied to calculate the reflection coefficients of parallel and vertical polarization incident waves. By compared with analytic resolutions, It shows the validation and effectiveness of the method.
