Abstract
We present a mass formula for the color excitation of vector mesons. Identifying the 3105 MeV resonance as the colored ω meson, we predict a colored φ meson with mass ≈ 4.1 GeV and with its leptonic pair decay width Γ e = 3.8 KeV in good agreement with preliminary data. ψ (3695) is suggested as the daughter of the Regge recurrence of the colored ω meson.
