Abstract
ABSTRACT A model for sprinkler maintenance by periodic nozzle replacement has been developed. The cost of water wasted due to nozzle wear and pressure variation was considered with respect to the sprinkler operating parameters, and it was found that significant savings could be achieved for both regular and flow controlled nozzles.
