Abstract

A theoretical analysis of transport phenomena in inhomogeneous charged porous media has been presented using a two-dimensional network model. The network as well as the series and parallel models allows us to calculate the streaming potential and modified potential across inhomogeneous charged porous media. The work presented provides insight into the relationships among pore structure, flow properties, and coupling coefficients.
