Abstract
Invited for the cover of this issue is Albert Escuer from the Molecular Magnetism Group, University of Barcelona, Spain. The cover image shows the “cluster inside a ring” core of the complex discussed in the article, whose structure is even more clearly depicted in its shadow. The reaction of an azide anion with 2-pyridylcyanoxime, mediated by MnII cations, yields a new tetrazole ligand and one high-nuclearity cluster with an unprecedented core.
