Abstract

Continuous glucose meters (CGMs) have greatly influenced diabetes care worldwide by minimizing the need for repeated self-testing, such as finger pricking every few hours. Among current CGMs, non- or minimally invasive devices have attracted more attention due to their safety and comfortability. The performance of current CGMs is highly dependent on an enzymatic detection mechanism. Therefore, their optimum accuracy, precision and stability could deteriorate during storage and/or at the time of measurement.
