Abstract

An automated system for the indirect measurement of blood pressure on seacted factory workers has been developed and has been in continuous daily operation for nine months. Six industrial workers on a conveyor assembly line are monitored serially. Because of completely automatic operation of this system, blood-pressure data can be collected over a long time period without any experimenter intervention.
