Abstract

A miniature dual-band bandpass filter (DBBPF) with a controllable multimode resonator is designed and implemented based on substrate integrated suspended line (SISL) technology. The proposed SISL DBBPF demonstrates two independently controlled passbands at 1.90 and 4.85 GHz, with a very compact size of $0.12\lambda _{g}\times 0.10\lambda _{g}$ . $(\lambda _{g}$ is the guided wavelength at 1.90 GHz.) The measured results of this filter keep highly consistent with the full-wave simulated results.
