A Millimeter-Wave Iris Feed Technique Analysis with the Generalized Equivalent Circuit (GEC) Combined to the Method of Moments (MOM)

Abstract

This article aims to study the electromagnetic aspect of an Iris Feed Technique by applying the MOM-GEC Method which is a hybridization of the Generalized Equivalent Circuits Method (GEC) combined to the Method of Moments (MOM). The wave concept is introduced to express the electromagnetic wave propagation in two regimes which differ by the expression of the characteristic admittance of the fundamental mode in free space.
