Abstract
A microcomputer-controlled vision system incorporating a grey level local image processor and a binary frame image processor operating on the S-100 bus is described. Examples are given to illustrate applications in pattern recognition, industrial inspection and the rejection of faulty components by vision-controlled assembly robots.
