Abstract

ABSTRACT RESEARCH to study the nature and extent of non-point sources of pollution from surface water runoff, including agricultural operations, requires instrumenta-tion that records intermittent runoff water levels and ac-tivates sampling equipment (Johnson et al., 1978). Ac-quisition and analysis of hydrologic data using current techniques is a time consuming and expensive process which demands better data collection and reduction pro-cedures.
