A micromethod for the routine estimation of serum ornithine carbamoyltransferase activity

Abstract

A simple method for the routine assay of S.O.C.T. has been described, which requires only 0.4 ml of serum and gives highly reproducible results. The reagents are easy to prepare, are very stable and, with the exception of the citrulline substrate, have given satisfactory results after six months.
