Abstract

This work describes a Microcontrolled System which allows simultaneous (or single use) operation of fuzzy logic control, PID control and system simulation. The software is dynamically reconfigurable, to allow on-line changes in the system structure. The main idea is to have a software-hardware system which allows the implementation of many different test patterns related to control systems, such as the performance comparison of control algorithms. The proposed approach supports process simulation as well as real-time interfacing to real processes. Results are presented showing the main features of the system.
