Abstract

This paper deals with the parameter estimation of a current source inverter fed induction motor worked out by using a microcomputer based data acquisition system and a recursive identification algorithm implemented by means of a general purpose computer. The motor is represented by the usual model linearized around each working point and described in state variable form. The estimation of the motor parameters is performed through a recursive algorithm in unified form. The characteristics of the microcomputer based data acquisition system are developed in order to accomplish the required performances in identification applications.
