Abstract

This article explains the use of a microcomputer in a data-acquisition and experiment-control system employed for internal flow testing in a turbomachinery laboratory. The system, assembled at low cost, has been found to be highly flexible in its application to a variety of research test rig requirements. Information concerning the system structure, and descriptions of system components and interaction, are presented.
