Abstract

A method of measuring the concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and ethyl mercaptan in their mixture in air using a modified gas-analyzer system based on an MOS-sensor, which operates on the basis of the difference in the temperatures at which these gases burn, is considered. The use of these gas analyzers to monitor the odor level and to detect leakages of domestic gas is proposed.
