Abstract

Key links play a vital role in the flow of command and control network information. Considering the allegations of command and control network bridging phenomenon exists, and the critical link identification methods do not take into account the impact of the neighbor nodes at both endpoints on a key link. Here, a novel method of key link identification in command and control networks based on an edge bridging coefficient is proposed. The method first calculates the sum of reachable secondary and tertiary paths between the two endpoints of the key edge, then calculate the ratio between the product of the augment degree with the endpoints and the former sum to determine the criticality of the edge. The results of simulation show that this method can efficiently and accurately identify the key link of command and control network.
