Abstract

We suggest a method of determing the relative contributions from individual neutron capture processes to the abundances of heavy elements in metal-poor stars, based on the observed abundances of some typical elements and the theories of nucleosynthesis and galactic chemical evolution. The method is applied to three metal-poor stars, HD Nos. 62644, 126238 and 184711. The results of our calculation are compared with the observations and a discussion follows.
