Abstract

A new method for the synthesis of antenna arrays of vector radiators with a specified amplitude radiation is proposed. The method is based on the principle of control of partial pattern beams and the genetic algorithm. The rms difference between the synthesized and specified amplitude patterns is used as a solution optimality criterion. In order to limit the domain of feasible solutions, additional requirements on the antenna polarization pattern are specified. It is shown that the principle of partial beams can be used for for-mation of both broadened and shaped beams.
