Abstract
Fission counters and foils uniformly coated with plutonium and uranium are required for nuclear measurements. A technique is described in which the plutonium or uranium is dissolved in a cellulose lacquer. This lacquer is painted on to the foils and the fission counters are coated by dipping them into this solution.
