Abstract

The field of three-dimensional magnetized bodies with uniform magnetization is analyzed using a new approach based on the method of primitive functions. The key factor of the procedure is to approximate the three-dimensional body by cuboids with cover surfaces parallel to the coordinate planes. Hence, the magnetic field can be represented by the help of the sum of values of primitive functions at their corner points. The numerically determined results of the magnetic field strength of a sphere are compared with the exact ones in order to judge the applicability of the method proposed.
