Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method of synthesizing multivariable transfer functions by active- <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">RC</tex> networks using state space methods. Multivariable transfer functions are functions of the complex angular frequency s together with several variable parameters <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">\Lambda_{i}</tex> , which are independent of time and frequency, but which can be changed continuously and independently. We introduce some special classes of multivariable transfer functions which can be realized with the minimal or almost the minimal number of elements.
