Abstract

The real part ∆R and the imaginary part ∆X of the difference in the impedance of a solenoid coil with and without a YBCO sample were measured by the SRPM method at 77.3K in the frequency range of l00Hz to 1MHz. The frequency dependence of ∆R and ∆X was analyzed theoretically and experimentally. From the frequency dependence of ∆R, the region of the normal and anomalous skin effect was discriminated. In the normal skin effect region, resistivity and magnetic penetration depth were obtained, and in the anoumalous skin effect region, the mean free path of electron was evaluated.
